Handle your Sally Fox jewelry with care and it will reward you with years of elegant wear. Storing your jewelry properly is essential. Lay each piece flat or wrapped in a soft cloth or tissue. Keeping it in the box or pouch that it came in is an excellent option. Storing silver pieces in a sealed ziploc will prevent tarnish indefinitely.

Hairspray, perfume and lotion contain chemicals that can damage precious metals and gemstones. Coral, turquoise and pearls are especially vulnerable. Apply such products before donning your jewelry and always wipe gems and precious metals clean with a soft damp cloth if they come in contact with these chemicals.

Never use a brush, harsh chemicals or ultrasonic cleaner on your Sally Fox jewelry. Transparent stones may be safely cleaned by gently wiping with a soft, damp cloth or by immersing and swishing in a plastic bowl of warm water with a few drops of very mild soap. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a soft cloth; allow to dry completely before returning
to storage. Turquoise, Lapis, Coral, Pearls and other opaque minerals should not be immersed in soapy water; they will absorb the chemicals and eventually change color. Simply wipe them with a damp cloth to remove soiling and restore luster.
